Salary band: £80,000 per annum

 

ROLE

This Associate Creative Director role offers an exciting opportunity to lead creative development for a major global coffee brand. A central part of this role is to mediate between the client's global campaigns team and the designated partner creative agency. Your focus will be on creative ideation, managing feedback to and from the partner creative agency, and being a sounding board for the client team on all global campaigns creative work. This role demands a highly collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for pushing creative boundaries while maintaining brand consistency. You will help manage the creative output of the dedicated client team and manage their collaboration with the partner creative agency through to execution and production.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Creative Strategy & Execution: Work with the client campaigns team on the creative ideation process, and work closely with the partner agency to develop innovative and effective campaign executions against this. Review and input to all aspects of campaign development, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy. Copywriting skills are required, and the ability to feedback on this aspect of creative executions is central to the role.
  • Feedback Management: Effectively manage feedback between the client and the partner agency, ensuring clear communication and constructive dialogue. Translate client feedback into actionable direction for the agency and vice versa.
  • Creative Quality Control: Ensure all creative output from the partner agency meets the highest standards of quality and brand consistency, acting as a brand guardian throughout the entire campaign development process.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the client's Global Campaigns team, acting as the primary creative point of contact. Review creative concepts and rationale, incorporating client feedback and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for the client on all creative matters.
  • Partner Agency Management: Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the designated partner creative agency per project. Clearly communicate the client's vision and objectives, provide constructive feedback on creative rounds shared, and help drive effective collaboration between both parties.
  • Inspiration: Inspire our client team and help them workshop broad concepts to develop best-in-class creative concepts.
  • Design: A strong understanding of design principles and aesthetics.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal Hogarth creative and production teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Presentation Development: Oversee the creation of compelling presentations for internal client meetings, effectively communicating creative concepts and associated presentation narratives.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and maintain a cutting-edge creative approach.

 

PROFILE

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director (or Associate Creative Director) within an agency environment, ideally with experience working on global brands and managing partner agency relationships.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of developing and executing successful integrated campaigns across various channels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal and client stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of brand strategy and the ability to translate strategic objectives into compelling creative executions.
  • Experience working with integrated production teams, including content studios.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in mediating between clients and external agencies.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience within the food and beverage industry is a plus.
  • A passion for coffee is highly desirable.
  • International experience or working with global teams is beneficial.
