THE ROLE
The Netflix Marketing team seeks a creative marketing leader with passion and expertise in LIVE programming.. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Live Events Marketing, the Sr. Manager of Live Events Marketing will take the lead on building marketing campaigns and fan events with sharp, sophisticated and bold thinking, ensuring the execution of each campaign is excellent both internally (strategies, cross-functional collaboration) and externally (campaigns, creative assets, partnerships.) This leader will oversee the marketing strategy for tentpole Netflix Live programming, including sports events, musical competition series, and fan events like TUDUM and Netflix is a Joke Fest. The Netflix approach to marketing is to build innovative, culturally relevant, creatively excellent campaigns that pierce the zeitgeist and drive conversation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gain alignment on campaign strategy and objectives across the MarComms org.
Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and achieve cross functional goals.
Lead 360 creative marketing initiatives to success on a vast slate of live events – from strategy development to creative execution.
Responsible for developing and applying a strategic framework to campaigns to ensure all projects and campaign goals ladder up to Netflix’s greater business goals.
Partner with content, publicity, and product promotion as it relates to campaign and brand integration into title campaigns.
Stay aligned with Partner Marketing and Ad Sales to help drive business goals for LIVE Events.
Provide high level partner, filmmaker & showrunner / talent management and support across the LIVE events slate.
Accountable for budget, scope, and deadlines for campaigns.

EXPERIENCE
8+ years of experience in building strategic and creative consumer marketing campaigns, preferably at a streaming network or studio with a background in entertainment (TV, film, gaming), global lifestyle/sports brand (Nike, Adidas, Apple, etc.) or creative/advertising agency.
Experience in activating new ideas/creating new opportunities across the business in service of an initiative, namely with key cross functional partners like brand partnerships, gaming, consumer products and ad sales.
Strong interpersonal, creative, presentation, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
Experienced in agency/brand relationship building, capable of shaping productive long-term relations with external partners by providing continuous feedback.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $285,000-$425,000.
