Our teams work at a global scale on services and products like our scalable web mono repo infrastructure, checkout funnel, discounting and wallet services, price experimentation infrastructure, and referral marketing technology. As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll join a cross-functional team building features to be used by millions of customers across a dozen-plus markets. You will develop engaging user experiences iteratively using modern technologies with a focus on accessibility, scalability and maintainability.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

• Work on a team building features with other developers, product owners, and designers
• Participate in the design, development, deployment and operations of the microservices we develop, using best practices, and pair/mob programming
• Collaborate with other engineers, technical program managers, product leads, team leads, vice presidents, and other stakeholders
• Partner with engineers across your department and the company to continuously improve our code base, systems and processes;
• Have used state-of-the-art technologies like React, NextJS, TypeScript, Kotlin, Kafka, GoLang, Kubernetes, Docker and more
• Help to enable your product team to iterate fast and learn about our customer by planning, building, testing and launching features and A/B experiments;
• Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of the scalable micro-services that you develop.
• Coach and mentor other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews;
• Contribute to recruiting by attracting, reviewing and interviewing candidates

Sound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for

• Application of the HelloFresh DNA and curiosity to tackle challenges in Supply Chain Management 
• Proficiency in SEO, including a strong grasp of web crawlers, indexing, and Core Web Vitals
• You gained exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP-UI.
• You have experience in defining the regression plan based on risk analysis of the requirements.
• Deep knowledge in web development best-practices when it comes to the developer experience, website performance & observability (ie: web design patterns, testing strategies & deployment pipelines)
• You have experience testing complex distributed and cloud-based systems, particularly in e-commerce or subscription-based platforms.
• 3+ years experience developing in Javascript (preferably with ReactJS or NodeJS) in a fullstack or similar role.
• Kotlin, Java, React, and Go. Don’t have experience with many of them? No problem, as long as you have experience with any relevant transferable technologies and willingness to learn our tech stack will set you apart
• Knowledge in writing tests and working with databases and other data stores
• You thrive in the opportunity to collaborate and mentor team members, while also sharing practical knowledge and trends
• Actively looks out for potential problems in delivering code and proactively addresses them
• Bonus: Working knowledge of mobile app development through React Native or experience leading (or working) on large-scale cross-platform projects
