As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team building features to be used by millions of customers across a dozen-plus markets. You will develop engaging user experiences iteratively using modern technologies with a focus on accessibility, scalability and maintainability.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

• Work on a team building features with other engineers, product owners, and designers
• Participate in the design, development, deployment, of AI-powered systems using best practices.
• Collaborate with other engineers, technical program managers, product leads, team leads, vice presidents, and other stakeholders
• Partner with engineers across your department and the company to continuously improve our code base, systems and processes;
• Build integrations with state-of-the-art ML and LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face) and create features like personalized content generation, intelligent recommendations, and automated user assistance.
• Leverage technologies like Python, GoLang, Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Help to enable your product team to iterate fast and learn about our customer by planning, building, testing and launching features and A/B experiments;
• Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of the scalable microservices that you develop.
• Coach and mentor other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews;
• Contribute to recruiting by attracting, reviewing and interviewing candidates

Sound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for

• Familiarity with SEO, including a strong grasp of web crawlers, indexing, and Core Web Vitals
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face) including generation, validation, and monitoring 
• Experience building production applications using NLP techniques
• Multi-modal generation experience (text, image, and video) a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and with large-scale data platforms.
• You rock in Python.
