Special Operations Project Manager

The role

You'll be based in our Nordic head office in Islands Brygge, and report to the Director of Special Operations responsible for the Nordics, France, Benelux and young markets. The role will require travels to European facilities and offices in certain periods,  based on projects and priorities.

You will work directly with our Senior Management (both in the Nordics, in Berlin HQ and in ~10 European Markets) to lead cross-functional special projects focused on scaling our operations, improving our operational performance, expanding the customer offering and increasing the resilience of our end-to-end Supply Chain. You will have an immediate impact on pressing topics in Operations whilst enjoying an accelerated career progression path in an expanding company.

This is a highly cross-functional role that will require you to collaborate with both the commercial side and the operational side of our business to ensure our strategy is effectively communicated and anchored across the business.

What you’ll do

• Work on high priority cross-functional projects focused on standardizing and scaling our operations, improving our operational performance, expanding the customer offering and increasing the resilience of our end-to-end Supply Chain
• Join a high performing Special Operations team, mixing external and internal talent, and acting as a career fast track within Hellofresh 
• Dive deep into and gain experience across different areas of our Operations - Procurement, Product Development, Menu planning, Production, and Logistics
• Work directly with all Senior Operations Stakeholders and closely with local markets leadership
• Analyze our current strategies and identify new opportunities 
• Provide direct analytical and operational support to our local markets (identifying, structuring, and solving an array of complex problems using data) and help them anticipate their next operational challenges
• Implement data-driven solutions, tools and processes across our operations including in our distribution centers and own last mile
• Bring the “Best of Hellofresh International” to markets and build local capabilities
• Act as cross-functional and/or cross-market project orchestrator, mobilizing key stakeholders to realize impact

What you’ll bring

• 3-4 years of experience in a fast paced project based environment e.g. at a top tier management consulting firm, investment bank, fast-growing start-up / scale-up or demanding role in an industry with affinity to HelloFresh.
• Experience in Operations-related topics such as warehousing, fulfillment, supply chain or procurement
• An exceptional academic record with a degree in Engineering, Business, Analytics or a related field
• Project management experience with proven ability to effectively motivate, develop and manage a diverse set of stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for using data to innovate effective solutions to address business needs
• Excitement for working in a fast-paced start-up-like environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
• A positive attitude and passion for food! 
• Willingness to travel internationally 
• Fluency in English
