Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with product or Go-To-Market (GTM) business management leading a team across APAC.
  • 10 years of experience operating in a global or APAC environment.
  • Experience in leadership, such as people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting multiple industry leading SaaS partners to cloud platforms and managing those partnerships into a joint GTM motion, and interaction with C-suite with market leading technology/SaaS companies.
  • Experience with product or GTM Business Management, leading a team across APAC.
  • Experience leading inside sales, Business Development Representatives or corporate teams for scaled motions.
  • Ability to form relationships across the field and business functions in multiple companies, with experience in SaaS and Cloud alliances.
  • Ability to operate in a fluid industry or environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with business acumen, thought leadership, and innovation.

As the APAC Demand Generation and Cloud Go-to-Market Lead, you will be responsible for developing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies across all of Google Cloud’s portfolio including but not limited to Cloud and AI Infrastructure, Data Platforms, AI, Generative AI, Security, Networking, and App Modernization. You will work with the market's business leadership team, partners and the enablement team to launch and execute business development activities, with the support of the APAC Programs team. You will also drive the demand generation motions working with both direct and external vendors on pipeline, funnel and programmatic motions.

  • Create tailored industry growth plans and playbooks relevant for the region, across different types of customers.
  • Create data and research driven customer insights to create APAC specific buyer personas, prospecting and discovery techniques.
  • Work with sales and pre-sales organizations to create living customer growth plans for customers. Work with the partner organization to create a business development and engagement framework for Independent Software Vendors.
  • Create and execute cadence programs to track the milestones, metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used for pipeline generation and pipeline progression.
  • Structure interlocks between global, regional (APAC), sub-regional (countries) and field teams to bring alignment and streamline information flow between various working groups of stakeholders.
