Network Engineer, Google Enterprise Network

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
• Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications in CCIE/CCDE/JNCIE or equivalent level experience.
• Experience with large enterprise network design and operations in a global environment.
• Experience in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of network technologies/protocols: VXLAN, BGP EVPN, 802.1x, LACP, MacSec, Encryption, key management, Micro segmentation, ACL, Cloud technologies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Provide technical and thought leadership to improve the life-cycle of NonOffice network from concept and design, to qualification and validation through deployment, operation, and optimization.
• Multiply the effectiveness of the team through design reviews, technical mentoring, and career development support.
• Scale systems sustainably through tools and automation, and evolve systems by driving change that improves reliability and velocity.
• Work with Partner teams to analyze requirements or potential problems and develop solutions and policy recommendations.
• Lead development of Google’s Enterprise Network infrastructure through published engineering design documents and specifications. Lead the requirement analysis, engineering design, and solution development of Google’s enterprise network infrastructure.
