The Amazon B2B Gift Cards team is responsible for selling and delivering Amazon Gift Cards and Product Vouchers (Gift codes that can be used only for specific category) to companies for a variety of use cases, such as customer acquisition campaigns, loyalty programs, consumer promotions, employee incentives and cash disbursements.
Amazon is searching for a world-class professional to help grow the business and manage customer relationships in Japan.
This position is responsible for growing the business through business development & marketing. It's also responsible for large account management, in-store sales promotion planning/execution to raise customer awareness of Amazon gift cards and driving innovation for customers.
This position is responsible for teaming and helping to build strategic relationships with accounts, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups. They are responsible for working at the most senior level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
The position requires strong relationship management skills and a growth mindset. Analysis of business priorities and results while consistently delivering improved customer experiences is a must.
Further responsibilities include the analysis of the competitive market space and business needs, providing input into product requirements, execution of the sales strategy set by local and global team, and providing support to your team in achieving its goals.
You will work with global and local stakeholders internal and external to Amazon including:
- WW and local senior executive team
- Domestic clients (Japan)
- Partner integration teams
- Marketing and operations teams
- Amazon Business teams
- Product management, finance, accounting, tax and legal teams, in addition to Amazon category team.

- University degree and above
- Japanese language fluency (speaking, writing and reading), English conversational and writing to an acceptable level for internal stakeholder discussions.
