About the team:

Nintex Apps empowers users to build rich, dynamic software through a drag-and-drop interface—no coding required, though extensibility is always an option. With declarative configuration, builders can create custom end-user experiences that previously demanded complex coding. Behind the scenes, Nintex Apps translates these configurations into seamless, interactive applications, combining simplicity with powerful runtime capabilities

About the role: 

Join our team as we build and implement a global design system for the entire Nintex portfolio. You’ll be instrumental in evolving the design system for Nintex Apps, making app building easier while creating a React component library for teams working on code-based builds outside of Nintex Apps. This is a key opportunity to shape the next phase of product integration at Nintex and lead the way in creating a unified, scalable design foundation across all our products.

Your contribution will be:  

• Own Key Areas of the Codebase: Take full ownership of at least one major component of the codebase while maintaining a high-level understanding of the entire system.
• Drive Design Clarity: Clearly articulate your code design decisions and suggest practical, effective solutions to move projects forward.
• Master New Technologies: Stay ahead of the curve by quickly learning and adopting new technologies, while mentoring others to do the same. You’ll be the go-to person for sharing knowledge and improving the team’s skillset.
• Lead Feature Development: Implement complex features and serve as the primary resource for maintaining critical systems that drive our success.
• Coach and Improve: Navigate technical conflicts with professionalism, offering constructive feedback and coaching others to improve their work and foster a culture of growth.
• Boost Team Productivity: Identify opportunities for code reusability, driving efficiency and maximizing the impact of your team.
• Engage in Incident Management: Actively participate in incident management, including on-call rotation, and collaborate with the IM team to swiftly resolve issues.
• Innovate Continuously: Contribute new ideas and maintain a relentless focus on improving both technical solutions and team processes..

  To be successful, we think you need:

• Experienced React Developer: 3+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development, with a focus on building scalable, reusable React component libraries.
• Proficient in Modern JavaScript/TypeScript: Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with a solid understanding of CSS and JSS for creating responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• AWS Cloud Knowledge: Experience working within AWS cloud environments, enabling you to build and scale efficient applications in a modern cloud infrastructure.
• Relational Database Skills: Familiarity with relational databases will be a plus, allowing you to build data-driven applications with ease.
• Salesforce Experience (Bonus): If you have experience with Salesforce, that’s a huge plus, as it can contribute to the broader ecosystem of our platform
