Operational Excellence BI Analyst

About The Team:

This role is responsible for data analysis to help the business make data driven decisions. This is achieved by interpreting data from a variety of sources including the data warehouse. This can involve identifying trends and finding patterns using a variety of statistical methods ranging from simple averages to more complex ideas.

The role is instrumental in creating reports and dashboards that visualise KPI performance for use by different departments but mainly to help aid operations and shop floor productivity and efficiency. In addition, this role will be accountable for owning projects, and managing communication with stakeholders and assuring on-time project delivery.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Collecting, processing, analysing and interpreting data from various sources such as internal systems, external databases to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain regular reporting tools that effectively communicate key metrics, trends, and insights to our stakeholders which can be useful to the OPEX team or the rest of the teams at the company.
• To ensure the data we use and share with the team is accurate and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams globally, internally and cross-functionally to identify and resolve issues, share best practices.
• Lead and support on continuous improvement yellow belt projects aiming to further advance our knowledge and/or execute identified. opportunities. Updating key stakeholders in a timely manner on the progress and struggles of the project.
• Provide support and coaching for team members in data related needs and problems.
• Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.

Who You Are:

• Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics
• Experience in Business Intelligence/ Data Analysis 
• Analytical and problem-solving
• SQL
• Excel/GSheets manipulation.
• Strong communication skills: able to communicate complex data analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Location: Can either be based in Banbury, Derby or London (hybrid)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 Hours)
