Role Description: This role is based in Amsterdam and within the Marketplace Business Unit.The Marketplace mission is to truly understand traveler needs and behavior across multiple verticals, design and implement common traveler-facing product experiences, steward travelers to the right vertical offering, and grow Connected Trips, where travelers not only book hotels or homes, but also flights, car rentals, rides, and local attractions with us. The ‘Manage the trip’ team’s mission is to make it easier for travellers to manage their trip by proactively preventing, reassuring and solving (connected) trip disruptions. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: Owns the execution of technical and user interface elements in the Booking.com stack, products and processes. Splits large tasks in manageable and decoupled steps. Estimates and prioritises based on the implementation effort and customer impact. Collaborates with other app developers, backend developers, product owners, and quality specialists, to constantly improve customer experience. Ensures the utmost high quality of the Booking.com app in production, by monitoring crashes, firefighting incidents and solving complex bugs. Contributes to the processes that support the release of new features for the entire company, such as the release process, the build process, etc. Contributes to Booking.com's growth through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.
