Job Description

Job Purpose

The Marketing Executive will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Deliveroo Shopping. Be part of the journey to build our brand new shopping proposition, bringing the local high street (including DIY, Beauty, Electronics and more to customers doors in as little as 20 minutes). This position requires a creative and analytical thinker who can drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and sales growth through innovative marketing campaigns. You’ll partner with some of the biggest brands in the UK - including Boots, B&Q, Not on The High Street and The Perfume Shop, to deliver growth strategies for them on the Deliveroo platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Development and Execution:
    • Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote Deliveroo Shopping and key customer missions. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across CRM, in-app and off-platform channels (social, digital)
    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve KPIs.
  • Content Creation:
    • Develop engaging content for various platforms, including social media, email, and the Deliveroo app.
    • Work with designers and copywriters to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations:
    • Support the marketing launch campaigns for new Partners on the platform, driving consumers to trial
    • Identify and establish partnerships with retailers and brands to enhance Deliveroo Shopping offerings.
    • Manage relationships with external partners to maximise marketing opportunities.
  • Budget Management:
    • Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
    • Track and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention.
    • Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve service offerings and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the e-commerce or retail sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
