The role
The IT Management Tribe has the privilege of providing technology products and services to the whole HelloFresh organization. This individual contributor role will be directly involved in both high-level decision-making and operational tasks. We're seeking a dynamic individual to bring our SaaS Management area to a new level, focusing on:
- Optimizing our software spend and global IT portfolio while balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution to ensure Software expenditures are well-managed, optimized, and aligned with business priorities.
- Elevating our SaaS Management offerings to Senior Leadership by identifying pain points, defining ideal outcomes, scoping initiatives, and ultimately delivering the results and value to the business.
- Driving our software consolidation efforts in close collaboration with various teams, while providing regular updates to Indirect Procurement and Senior Leadership.
- Enhancing our tool evaluation process, broadening criteria to include factors such as usability, onboarding, customer success, and vendor relationships.
- Predicting future tech trends, evaluating long-term IT needs, and suggesting investments aligned with the business strategy to help the organization stay competitive and agile in a rapidly changing industry.

What you’ll do
- Long-Term Planning: Execute strategic planning by starting with desired outcomes, identifying key problem statements, and delivering actionable solutions.
- Consolidation of Software: Drive Software consolidation efforts in collaboration with various teams and provide regular updates to Indirect Procurement and Senior Leadership.
- Insights and Reporting: Provide data analysis and craft concise, data-driven reports for senior leadership, summarizing insights, supporting decision-making, and driving actionable outcomes.
- Tool Evaluation and Future Trends: Enhance tool evaluation processes by broadening criteria (e.g., usability, onboarding, vendor relationships) and predict future tech trends to align IT investments with business strategy.
- SaaS Management Tool Expertise: Develop expertise in Trelica to streamline workflows, drive adoption, and maximize its value for the organization.
- Financial Liaison and Budget Tracking: Collaborate with Finance to monitor IT spend, execute the 3rd party budget, and present findings to senior management for data-driven decision-making.
- Optimize Spend: Balance strategic initiatives with hands-on execution to effectively manage technology spend, ensuring optimization and achieving cost savings.
What you’ll bring
Procurement, Financial and Software skills:
- Analytical Skills: Assess software forecasts, usage patterns, and spending data to identify trends, drive cost optimization, and support strategic decision-making. Proficient in statistical analysis and predictive modeling to improve SaaS management efficiency.
- Financial Literacy: Understand IT cost allocation, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Presentation Skills: Create reports and presentations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Google Sheets: Skilled in VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and SUMIFs formulas.
- Software Management: Knowledge of licensing models, SLAs, contract terms, and SaaS management tools (Trelica is a plus, API integrations, cloud technologies).
- Procurement & Contracts: Strong negotiation skills for SaaS contracts; ability to review, interpret, and optimize agreements.
- ITIL: Familiarity with ITIL software delivery practices is a plus.
