Senior Research Operations Specialist

The role

We’re hiring a Senior Research Operations Specialist to lead and optimize the processes that empower HelloFresh’s Tech team to deliver impactful insights. As a senior member of our growing Research Platform team within the Insights & Experience Innovation department, you will be responsible for driving key initiatives across the organization, working closely with researchers, product teams, designers, and commercial stakeholders. You endeavor to streamline operations, expand research capabilities, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Your work will directly impact HelloFresh’s ability to generate better customer experiences, shape product decisions, and ultimately drive business success.

This is a high-impact role where you can drive the operational strategy for a diverse range of research activities, including global studies, democratized research programs, tool consolidation, knowledge management, and more. What you’ll do

• Democratized Research Consultation: Advise stakeholders on how to participate in and optimize their democratized studies, given your strong methodological sense and ability to guide research scope based on shifting inputs such as project constraints, goals, or biases.
• Build the Research Programs & Practice: translate ambiguous inputs and stakeholder needs into scalable research programs and improved ways of working – all to make research run with increased speed, ease, and impact
• Participant Recruitment Execution: Lead the day-to-day execution of global participant recruitment for studies across multiple regions, ensuring that legal, cultural, and logistical requirements are met and that recruitment processes are efficient.
• Optimize Research Operations & Tools: Execute the development and enhancement of internal research processes, including creating and maintaining templates, recruitment pathways, study design guidelines, and tools for analysis.
• Stakeholder Support: Serve as the go-to person for operational support, office hours, providing guidance and resources for researchers and stakeholders across the company. This will include facilitating access to research tools, troubleshooting issues, and answering operational questions to keep research moving forward.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience in research, research operations or a related field, with a strong focus on execution and process optimization.
• Research Skillset: The ability to conduct E2E research studies including running workshops.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive them to completion on time and with high quality.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams at all levels of the organization across US and CET time zones.
• Detail-Oriented Execution: Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage detailed processes while keeping sight of overarching goals.
• Self-Driven & Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving issues independently
