HelloFresh is looking for a data-driven, strategic, and solution-focused Senior Manager - Strategic Projects, to join our Reactivations Marketing team, based in Toronto. You will bring strong analytical expertise to this high-impact and high-visibility role, to identify new business opportunities to re-engage our former customers based on deep analysis and understanding of marketing campaigns, market trends, and customer behaviors. You will provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to inform key business decisions, and guide marketing initiatives. As a thought leader, you will scope new opportunities and tests, develop cross-channel marketing strategies, and support profitability and customer experience improvement initiatives. By challenging the status quo, you will drive efficiency through process improvements, automation, and the creation of scalable mechanisms. This position reports directly into the Senior Director of Marketing - Reactivations.

You will … 

  • Analyze marketing campaigns, industry and market trends and customer behaviors and dynamics. Identify root causes of changing trends, new opportunities and challenges. Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to inform business decisions related to marketing strategies and growth initiatives, and support prioritization. 
  • Serve as a thought-leader by scoping new opportunity areas and tests
  • Support developing marketing strategy, and other strategic business topics such as profitability improvement, cross-channel marketing strategy, and customer experience improvement initiatives 
  • Continuously challenge the status quo. Define, develop and deliver strategic initiatives to improve processes and team and org level efficiency through analysis, business case creation, new processes and mechanisms, and project management 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across North America, and International counterparts to align priorities and processes, facilitate collaboration, and accelerate progress of shared projects. 
  • Automate repetitive tasks and build mechanisms to optimize resource utilization and team efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain processes for tracking projects progress and outcomes, and to clearly and proactively report to senior leadership and cross functional stakeholders. 
  • Monitor performance across channels and brands, and support the overall management of the business processes (e.g., business reviews, planning, initiative tracking) to ensure business plan targets are met. Communicate performance updates and provide strategic, data-driven recommendations to close gaps and accelerate growth. 
  • Take ownership of improving, maintaining and scaling forecasting tools to monitor and analyze performance. Support channel owners in building and managing forecast and budgets. 
  • Take lead on ad-hoc projects and deep dives as necessary

You are… 

  • Proficient in data analysis tools, including Excel, with the ability to identify trends and draw actionable conclusions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into insights and implement solutions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of structuring and visualizing complex issues
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing strategies. 
  • Experienced in performance marketing metrics (e.g., CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC, LTV). 
  • Proactive, results-oriented and data-driven. You constantly identify new opportunities and a more efficient way to deliver goals. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in parallel.
  • A scrappy team player, comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high-growth environment, committed to high-quality output. 
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently to lead initiatives. 
  • Fast learner with a "can-do" attitude
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence and manage stakeholders effectively

You have… 

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields with a strong academic record. MBA Preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, growth / performance marketing, or marketing analytics, preferably at a high-growth organization
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills to drive insights to inform strategies, make decisions, optimize performance and drive innovation. 
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and business acumen 
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize initiatives to maximize business impact
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Experience in SQL, Google Sheets, and/or Excel 
  • Ability to use SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Google and Meta Platforms is a plus
  • Experience managing customer lifecycle and segmentation strategies is a plus
