Office Based: Galway
Hours of Work:
40hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Problem-Solving / Collaboration / Efficiency

As a Supply Chain Support Associate at Wayfair, you will play a key role in resolving operational issues, improving processes, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. You'll be responsible for reviewing and resolving live tickets, analysing performance trends, and contributing to projects that enhance efficiency across our logistics and supply chain operations - all while providing excellent customer service to our suppliers and partners. 

What You'll Do

  • Actively review, investigate, and resolve live tickets from both internal and external partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support issue resolution.
  • Analyse and communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to management, both within and beyond your direct reporting line.
  • Contribute both independently and collaboratively to projects that drive improvements in processes, technology, and performance metrics across various operational and commercial areas.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and work collaboratively to improve the quality of our logistics and supply chain operation
  • Create and deliver communication plans with external partners including suppliers, logistics, Wayfair’s proprietary freight forwarding service (CastleGate Forwarding), and external 3rd party logistics companies (3PL).

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrate experience successfully operating within a high volume, customer support function.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and identify the root cause of a problem and clearly translate to the relevant parties enabling a quick solution.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for providing and enhancing customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve issues, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks while excelling in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Agility to adapt to changing priorities, processes, and technologies, maintaining efficiency and effectiveness in an evolving business landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in Google or Microsoft Suite (although any knowledge of GBQ would be a plus ultimately an aptitude to learn new applications and systems is essential).

Although any experience within logistics, supply chain and/ or ecommerce would be advantageous, ultimately if you have a talent to effectively manage and resolve multiple problems whilst thriving in a collaborative fast paced environment, we cannot wait to hear from you!
