**About the Role**
The Measurement Insights & Analytics team is looking for an analytical and strategic problem solver to partner with our sales team with the goal of improving the performance of our advertisers on Uber and help us achieve our revenue targets.
This role is a key member of the Measurement Science team at Uber Advertising. You will work with sales, product and other Uber business partners to analyze and improve advertisers' performance on Uber Eats or Mobility surfaces. You will work with Uber's unique data and translate it into high-quality and actionable insights to improve the effectiveness of advertiser campaigns and unlock new business opportunities. Activities include analyzing metrics of success for a brand or industry vertical, developing data-driven insights and recommendations, as well as communicating them in a clear and compelling fashion. Leveraging your business acumen and technical skills (such as SQL), you will derive both tactical and strategic insights that deliver the best return on investment for our clients.
**What You'll Do:**
- Data insights and analysis - Manage post campaign reporting and insights for all advertisers across assigned book of business
- Deliver regular and bespoke analyses and insights for some of the world's largest advertisers to drive growth across advertiser KPIs and help them grow their businesses with Uber
- Exhibit deep analytical ability, and develop great expertise in Uberβs proprietary metrics, working to constantly evolve how we analyze and communicate data driven insights to our advertisers
- Advocate for country and regional needs - Establish deep understanding of the local needs and nuances by partnering with local Account Executives, Account Managers and Merchant Operations teams
**Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, operational research or similar quantitative field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics / data science, measurement and insights, or consulting
- Intermediate to advanced skills in data analysis (e.g. MS Excel / Google Sheets / Python), story-telling (e.g. providing actionable insights based on analysis), advanced data querying (e.g. SQL), leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously; project management experience in dealing with a high volume of reporting / analysis requests
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders including sales and account management team and to effectively communicate technical work to non-technical audiences
- Capacity to conduct meetings and share insights to advertisers and agencies, including their C-suite members
- Experience with marketing / advertising measurement, analytics, and reporting within an advertising agency/consulting.
- Experience with online advertising, targeting and measurement systems and methodologies (ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, etc.)
- Experience with 3rd party measurement studies (brand lift, sales lift, foot-traffic, etc.)
- Well-versed in advertising technology, including 3rd party ad-serving and tag management solutions and programmatic ad buying platform
- Experience with A/B and multivariate test design and implementation and statistical concepts
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year - USD$106,250 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
