Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Experience in business operations (e.g., OKR planning, OKR reporting, workforce engagement, business reviews, business planning).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups and to customize communications based on the audience.
  • Ability to succeed in a highly ambiguous/unstructured environment.
  • Ability to navigate and leverage multiple large data sets to bring together cohesive and actionable insight.
  • Ability to think critically, and to take existing systems/process and drive/suggest optimizations.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, investigative and problem-solving skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will leverage your ability to create, educate and promote Supply Chain principles with internal partner organizations. You work with cross-functional teams to position spares into Google's global Data Centers efficiently and aggressively. In this hands-on role, you are responsible for identifying process gaps and building sustainable tools and processes, deriving insights from data, and driving spares availability for Data Centers, keep infrastructure up and running. You will work with Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Global Commodity Management, Procurement Operations and Supplier/Integration partners to scale spares positioning globally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Create and successfully implement new processes centered around supply planning, risk mitigation, sourcing strategies, sourcing execution, and procurement operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally across stakeholders and upstream teams to drive clarity, develop tools (dashboards) and processes, to streamline demand signals and communicate status/risks.
  • ­Update project schedules, communicate status, risks, influence change, and represent the Equipment Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, drive initiatives and process improvements.
  • Partner with Data Center Operations, Procurement Operations, and larger Equipment Supply Chain teams to drive synergies and alignment to ensure spare parts are in place at current and future Data Center sites.
  • Drive alignment across Equipment Supply Chain on strategies, objectives, rhythm of business, and business operations. Optimize manual effort and processes via automation and tooling to drive consistency and efficiency in the spares supply chain.
