Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a Design/Build delivery environment for mission-critical facilities in the design and delivery of Data Center Colocation Facilities.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Experience in the design, operation, and commissioning of large-scale industrial cooling and power systems.
  • Experience with managing data center projects within 3PDC environments.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will lead the Third-Party Data Centers (3PDC) engineering team and you will coordinate and manage the delivery of the warehouse conversion delivery program. This program is a growing need for Googles data center fleet and critical to deliver the overall business objectives. The goal of the program is to evaluate projects and develop designs and solutions to deliver an alternative means of alternative capacity delivery to the data center fleet. You will works and partners with many internal and external stakeholders to deliver this alternative capacity, and utilizes all available tools to maximize deliver while minimizing time to deploy a 'deploy on demand' model.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive the end-to-end technical program management for the third-party data center (3PDC) conversion, encompassing detailed planning, risk mitigation, and execution oversight to ensure seamless warehouse transformation.
  • Manage the complex, long-lead material procurement process, including vendor coordination, inventory control, and logistical planning to guarantee timely delivery and project continuity.
  • Oversee the delivery and allocation of data center capacity within the 3PDC fleet, utilizing data-driven insights to maximize resource utilization and meet evolving demand requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison, fostering clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external 3PDC partners, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the warehouse conversion and capacity delivery programs.
