Office Based: Galway
Hours of Work:
38.75hrs per week, Monday to Friday

As a Supplier Onboarding Specialist at Wayfair, you will be responsible for guiding new suppliers through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and efficient start on the Wayfair platform. You will act as their main point of contact, managing approvals, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to remove barriers. By leveraging data insights and process improvements, you will help optimize the supplier onboarding experience and contribute to category growth.

What You'll Do

  • Project managing the smooth onboarding  of new suppliers to the Wayfair platform. 
  • Effectively partnering  with cross-functional teams and supplier partners to proactively maintain forward momentum for successful onboarding.
  • Driving improvement in product selection for our customers by onboarding new suppliers that can have a meaningful impact on category growth.
  • Establishing and developing effective professional relationships built on trust and respect for building engagement with partners. 
  • Validating new business approval checks; closely liaising with our legal and scam prevention teams.
  • Applying effective resolution management techniques to swiftly identify and remove barriers enabling the onboarding process to maintain momentum.
  • Continuously strive to enhance our suppliers onboarding experience; reviewing processes, data, live examples and supplier feedback and recommending changes. 

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience successfully operating within a customer service, account management and/or support position.  Experience with logistics, supply chain  or ecommerce is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and identify the root cause of a problem and clearly translate to the relevant parties enabling a quick solution.
  • Effective communication skills with a passion for providing and enhancing customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve issues, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with the agility to effectively prioritize and meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Fluency in the English language, both verbal and written 
  • Self-motivated, resilient/ adaptable and focused to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Aptitude in Google or Microsoft Suite. Display the agility to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems. Any GBQ knowledge would be a plus.

Although not a pre-requisite, any project management knowledge, demonstrating the capability to plan, organize, and execute projects efficiently would be advantageous.
