At Wayfair, Advertising empowers suppliers to boost visibility of their products and brands on our platform. One of the biggest growth drivers for advertising will be increasing demand for our advertising services through an increased footprint, onboarding new suppliers and agencies, and increasing spend of existing suppliers. The Supplier Advertising Experience team is responsible for creating that demand by enabling thousands of suppliers to create, manage, and optimize successful campaigns. 

As the Product Manager in this space, you will be responsible for introducing new targeting capabilities, reporting, and externalizing our API offerings to our suppliers and other third parties. This role will help drive 3x growth in our supplier advertising business over the next few years by enabling more suppliers to run successful advertising campaigns! You will Influence the evolution of Wayfair's strategy for advertising offerings. 

What you'll do:
In this role, you will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to identify, understand, and solve the biggest challenges facing suppliers in the targeting and reporting space. Define the vision for supplier-facing reporting and external API offerings that can drive 3x growth in our advertising business.

Capability Definition:

  • Prioritise capabilities that enable suppliers to onboard onto Wayfair’s platform.
  • Create detailed requirements, user stories, and workflows to guide development teams.

Roadmap Ownership:

  • Maintain a clear product roadmap that aligns with business goals and supplier needs.
  • Balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with engineering to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
  • Work with supplier-facing teams to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of new features.

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Ensure alignment on product goals, priorities, and timelines.

Product Delivery: 

  • Ensure successful, timely delivery of new features and enhancements that improve compliance and operational efficiency.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Tack, and report on key product success metrics (KPIs) related to your product areas
  • Continuously iterate on solutions based on data and feedback.

Travel & International Collaboration: 

  • Able to travel internationally to collaborate with teams, share updates, and drive key initiatives forward.

We Are a Match Because You Have:

  • Have 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional product teams with a total industry experience of ~12-15 years.
  • Experience with advertising is strongly preferred. 
  • Ideal candidates have also built / worked on advertising campaign management tools; experience with advertising APIs is a plus.
  • Track record of effectively partnering with engineering to build high-impact, technical products with an ability to understand and push on system architecture to improve the product.
  • Ability to keep up in highly technical conversations, with experience leading technical products and ability to think and act both tactically and strategically, with experience leading cross-team initiatives.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a strong ability to conduct rigorous customer (internal or external) interviews and convey the "why" behind technical decisions. 
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to dive deep into data and produce actionable insights.
  • Ability to work with and influence partner teams (Senior Manager +) across various functional areas.
