About the Team
We are a new team being built out within Meesho. This team is about figuring out the next growth lever for Meesho. As Meesho’s core business continues to penetrate the e-commerce space for Bharat in retail goods, THIS TEAM will be a NEW vertical to unlock new opportunities in building low cost e-commerce across different verticals - Travel, Content, Healthcare, Fast Fashion - for the Bharat users.
Our goal is to unlock the next 1B USD topline for Meesho. Since we are a young team, we will be fast, experimentative, research-led and build & learn on the go. This role is for those folks who are looking to learn the craft of building new businesses from scratch and build it sustainably for the BHARAT user base.
As Manager - Strategy & Operations, you’ll have the opportunity to create business models, unlock Product-Market-Fit and see this vertical into the GROWTH PHASE - just like building a new Startup. About the Role
As a Manager - New Initiatives, you will work directly with the General Manager - the Head of the Vertical to solve business-critical problems. You’ll identify key opportunity areas through primary and secondary research, find user & seller problems, set priorities, come up with solutions and drive implementation in different types of projects.
You’ll shape up the right solutions in coordination with the product team (in case your solution requires tech interventions). You’ll also work with the team leaders to create and improve the operating systems of the team (strategic planning, competitive intelligence, building review systems, culture and so on).
