At Optiver, no two days are the same. In your role as Facility Operator your primary focus will be to support our organization, via the Facilities team. To be successful in this role, you should be hands on, approachable and organized. Have a great idea? WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Ensure the entire office, including all meeting rooms, is representative
- Respond to operational requests, including e-mail and slack duty, from colleagues (like chair requests, desks failures etc.)
- Ensure our colleagues have everything they need, to do their work
- Internal events set up
- Work closely with the soft services contractors (mainly cleaning, catering, security) to guarantee and improve the quality of the services
- Assist during small moves, maintenance, repairs etc.
- Contact person of the facility employee
- Operational admin work (managing new hires and leavers access cards, parking/ bike cards, office occupancy rate etc.)
- Part of the standby group, you will be the contact person for outside office hours emergencies for 1 week, every 4-5 weeks.

WHO YOU ARE
- Currently based in the Netherlands and do not require visa sponsorship.
- Possess an MBO-4 degree, preferably in Facility or Hotel Management.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant facility experience.
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (Dutch is not required but is a plus).
- Advanced computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
- Service-oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
- Capable of working both collaboratively and independently, with a drive for improvement.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly at all times.
- Proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.
- Possess a positive mindset, approachability, hands-on attitude, self-motivation, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
