As a Campus Recruiter, you will be responsible for hiring into our Internship and Graduate programs, as well as attracting top talent to our early engagement initiatives. Have an innovative idea? What you’ll do:

Our Recruitment team is formed of specialists that work across our three key departments: Trading, Technology and Business Operations. The core focus of our Campus Recruiters is to identify, attract, and secure top talent from our target markets for our early careers programs and opportunities. To help us achieve our goals, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with top-tier universities and target student groups.
  • Planning and executing on-campus and in-house events for students including delivering company presentations, attending career fairs and hosting in-house days.
  • Traveling across the US as needed during peak seasons.
  • Developing innovative recruitment strategies supported by data-driven insights and in partnership with business partners.
  • Proactively assessing and improving our current recruitment strategy.
  • Exercising your interviewing toolkit – combining accurate assessment with a top candidate experience.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree.
  • 3-5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth company within trading, tech, or a related industry.
  • A clear, polished communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • A team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to balance competing priorities with strong follow-through.
  • Passionate about leveraging data to shape recruiting strategies and decisions.
  • Eager to understand how campus recruiting impacts the broader business and excited about shaping early talent pipelines.
  • Willing to travel to travel for recruiting events.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening.
  • This is an in-office role based in Chicago, IL.

Below is the expected base salary for this position. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus (if determined by Optiver) and Optiver’s benefits package with the benefits listed above. 

 

Base Salary Range
$90,000$125,000 USD
