Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in an analytical role, such as management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the Entertainment and Sports industries.
  • Experience with ad-supported and subscription business models.
  • Project management experience in a fast-paced, self-starting environment.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively by presenting data/conclusions in a compelling way.
  • Excellent problem solving and investigative skills, with effective business acumen.
  • Excellent spreadsheet modeling and presentation skills.

The YouTube Connected TV (CTV) Product Activation team supports the TV, Film, and Sports partnership and product strategies globally. As a Global Product Activation Manager, you’ll focus on bringing TV, Film and Sports content to YouTube, supporting the partnership/product teams, and cross-functional business line owners on strategic business decision analysis, program management, special projects, business planning/operations, product Go-To-Market strategies and reporting.

The YouTube Business Product Activation team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. Product Activation is the link between YouTube products, our business teams, partners, and users. As a member of the Connected TV (CTV) team, you'll be tasked with ensuring that YouTube develops the best product strategy for our users and partners, and work to land product launches in the market. You will synthesize feedback from the market, and surface that feedback to our product and business leads in an effort to continually improve our products. You will provide product and business solutions across our CTV business lines, including YouTube TV, YouTube Primetime Channels, NFL Sunday Ticket, and much more.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product Manager, Engineering, Marketing, PR, Scaled education, Operations and Content Partnerships teams to shape product strategy, craft go-to-market strategy, communications and readiness for new products and synthesize global market feedback.
  • Provide strategic insights and lead continuous product and operational excellence efforts at YouTube, working closely with Business, Product and Engineering teams.
  • Execute quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights including product/program data analysis, business scenario analyses, dashboarding, and deck building.
  • Coordinate and track progress on key programs, work streams and team-wide annual and quarterly objectives.
  • Partner with global, cross-functional YouTube and Google teams on YouTube Entertainment/CTV business initiatives (e.g., annual strategy, agreement execution, performance tracking).
