Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in media planning and buying (e.g., search, mobile).
  • Experience working with or for digital/search/performance companies or agencies.
  • Experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Experience presenting to large audiences, and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of search products including Search Coverage, Performance Max, Automation, and Shopping/Commerce.
  • Ability to travel 25 - 40% of the time (within the U.S.).

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

At the agencies, you'll collaborate closely with independent agency partners and primarily serve as their ambassador to Google's advertising products and technologies. Within Google, you’ll partner closely with the Agency Sales Leads, who established the plan and priorities with agency executives, and you will activate those plans and priorities with a focus on performance products. You will ensure Google is maximizing every Performance opportunity. Through a combination of in-person/in-office in-depth searches, multi-account discussions and Labs, you'll help Agencies reach their goals on key metrics and identify business development opportunities.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000-$147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  • Develop and deliver consistent advanced Labs to agencies to hone their expertise in Search Coverage, Performance Max, Automation, Shopping/Commerce, and DemandGen.
  • Optimize alongside agencies, show advanced usage and progress on key metrics, and identify business development opportunities during office hours and regular meetings with agency team leaders.
  • Partner with LCS teams and Sector Product Specialist teams on account alignment and best practices.
  • Partner with Agency Sales Leads on QBRs and Joint Partnership Plans.
  • Lead a 10-20% project that is scalable across the agency team and drives value for Google, its agencies and clients.
