Job Title: Junior Data Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India (In-Office, NO Hybrid/ Remote)
Shift: 14:00 – 23:00 IST

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Data Engineer with over 1.5 years of relevant experience to join our team and support our data engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ETL Processes: Assist in designing and maintaining ETL processes using Matillion ETL.
• Data Warehouse Management: Help manage and optimize data warehousing solutions on Snowflake to support analytics and reporting.
• Programming and Scripting: Contribute to data processing and automation tasks using Python.
• Cloud Data Resources: Support the use of AWS Cloud Data Resources including S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and RDS for data storage and processing.
• Data Modeling: Assist in creating and maintaining data models to ensure accurate and consistent data.
• Repository Management and CI/CD: Help manage GitHub repositories and support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with senior engineers, data analysts, and other team members to understand and meet data requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and optimizing the performance of data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
• Data Quality and Governance: Support data quality, security, and governance initiatives across data-related projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1.5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Familiarity with Matillion ETL and Snowflake.
• Basic programming skills in Python.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Data Resources (e.g., S3, Lambda, Step Function).
• Understanding of data modelling and database design principles.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other ETL tools and data integration platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL and other database management systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
