About B2B Customer Success

Our B2B Customer Success team collaborates with leading global enterprises to launch and scale their online marketplaces. By offering strategic guidance, technical expertise, and access to key partners, we empower these businesses to succeed. A core focus of our team is enhancing seller recruitment—ensuring marketplaces thrive with a strong, diverse assortment of sellers. Sellers and the product assortments they bring are the backbone of every marketplace, and by helping clients attract and onboard new sellers, we drive scalable growth and boost GMV (Gross Merchandise Value).

Your Impact:

We’re looking for a passionate, strategic, and results-driven professional to join our B2B Customer Success team as a Marketplace Business Developer. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the charge in identifying and recruiting high-potential online sellers, showcasing the opportunity to join the world’s leading online foodservice platform. From prospecting and pitching to onboarding, you’ll own the entire seller recruitment journey, directly fueling our client’s marketplace growth and expanding its reach. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, pitching, and building meaningful relationships, showcasing strong interpersonal skills to communicate compelling value propositions. You will be instrumental in expanding our B2B seller ecosystem with the opportunity to make a significant and highly visible impact to our client’s success.

What You’ll Do:

Seller Prospecting & Recruitment:

  • Identify, qualify, and acquire high-potential sellers through proactive prospecting and outreach efforts.
  • Deliver compelling and customized pitches that align with sellers’ goals and demonstrate the value of the marketplace.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, taking ownership of the full recruitment process from prospecting to onboarding.
  • Maintain a functional understanding of our offerings to confidently communicate platform capabilities and advantages.
  • Regularly update and maintain detailed records in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and effective targeting strategies.

Onboarding & Support:

  • Collaborate with recruited sellers to ensure a smooth onboarding process and optimized time-to-market.
  • Build up a mastery of our platform in order to provide guidance and technical assistance to help sellers maximize their success on the marketplace
  • Develop and execute seller onboarding plans to ensure a positive onboarding experience

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Have the opportunity to present your work to senior leaders internally and externally given solid communication skills and ability deliver insights
  • ‘Track interactions, manage lead segments, and analyze data to inform outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Deliver relevant reporting to demonstrate recruitment progress and learnings from seller interactions.
  • Use data insights to optimize recruitment and outreach strategies, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

What We Are Looking For in a Candidate:

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, e-commerce, or related fields preferred.
  • B2B and/or Foodservice or Restaurant industry experience a plus

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade effectively.
  • Enthusiastic about sales activities, including prospecting, pitching, and relationship-building.
  • Ability to convey high-level concepts and value propositions in a compelling way.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Data analytical skills (Excel, etc.) a plus

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with using AI tools to increase efficiency and expanding what’s possible
  • Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce experience is a significant plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity apps
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, BigC or others a plus
