Job Title: Physical Security and Safety Coordinator

Location: Bangalore India

Job Type: Full-Time

Department: Security

Reports To: Director of Security

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Security and Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive physical security and safety programs to protect our organization’s assets, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in security management, risk assessment, and emergency response planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement physical security policies, procedures, and protocols.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats.

• Design and oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.

• Coordinate and conduct security training programs for employees and security personnel.

• Lead investigations into security breaches, incidents, and safety violations.

• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure effective response to security incidents.

• Monitor and analyze security trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.

• Prepare and present detailed reports on security incidents, risk assessments, and safety audits to senior management.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards.

• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with Facility team members and outside security contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in physical security, technology, facilities and/or safety management.

• Strong knowledge of security systems, technologies, and best practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to lead and manage security related incidents and events.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.

• Relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are highly desirable.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require occasional travel and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
