The Position

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on developing advanced threat analysis solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and cybersecurity, with a passion for solving complex problems. You will work closely with data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and software engineers to build and deploy machine learning models that enhance our threat detection capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing

  •  Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for threat detection, analysis, and response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and preprocess data from various sources, including network logs, intrusion detection systems, and threat intelligence feeds.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in cybersecurity data.
  • Optimize and fine-tune machine learning algorithms to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
  • Develop and maintain robust pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and cybersecurity, applying best practices to enhance our solutions.
  • Communicate findings and model performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to streamline the machine learning workflow.

What We Need From You

  •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role, particularly in cybersecurity applications.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, threat detection methodologies, and incident response.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
