The Position

We are looking for a driven and passionate Junior Frontend Developer to join our growing software engineering team. Join the MetaDefender Sandbox Team focuses on innovating cutting-edge sandbox and threat intelligence solutions – on premise and in the Cloud. As part of an international team with members in Vietnam, Spain, Georgia and Hungary you will have the opportunity to work on an amazing product, both locally and remotely around the world. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Deliver visual experiences of our product
  • Review design specification & coding
  • Implement feature with automated testing (unit testing and functionality testing)
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers
  • Implement new versions of our product

What We Need From You

  • Frontend development experience
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, CSS preprocessors (less/sass/scss), TypeScript and latest (ES6+) JavaScript standards 
  • Experience in JavaScript frontend frameworks (such as React, Vue.js) 
  • Good understanding of best practices of building cross-browser, device-independent interfaces and RESTful web services
  • Open to learn new technologies every day
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
  • Good English communication for both speaking and writing
  • Familiarity with Git and branching models is an advantage
  • It’s good to have experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
  • Experience with CSS framework (bootstrap, material, etc.) is appreciated
  • Experience in Python is a plus
