This is a hybrid position located in Boston. M-Th in office/ Friday's remote. 

Wayfair is seeking a data-oriented and self-motivated Senior Associate to join the Merchandising Customer Feedback Integrations Team. This role is seated within the Catalog Health team, whose mission is to ensure a healthy, trustworthy product catalog that aligns with Wayfair's standards and fosters customer confidence. The Senior Associate will play a critical role in leveraging customer feedback to detect untrustworthy merchandising experiences at all stages of the order journey, root cause the source of the issue and resolve it with our partners across Merchandising and beyond.

This role requires strong critical thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering impactful solutions.

What You'll Do

Project Ownership and Execution:

  • Own and deliver operational merchandising projects end-to-end, starting with high-level problem statements then structuring and scoping problems through delivering the final end product, process, or solution.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Analytics, Engineering, Merchandising, and Suppliers, to align on goals and execute projects effectively.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive supplier experience across touchpoints.

Operational Excellence and Problem-Solving:

  • Manage and optimize operational workflows to improve catalog health and the customer experience.
  • Proactively identify trending issues and collaborate with relevant teams to develop creative, holistic solutions.
  • Support day-to-day operations and troubleshooting where needed.
  • Ensure projects align with Wayfair’s commitment to reducing product returns and improving sustainability.

Strategic Insights and Business Case Development:

  • Leverage data to build compelling business cases for change, ensuring projects are backed by actionable insights.
  • Advocate for automation opportunities by working with engineering teams to streamline processes.
  • Track and report on project success using predefined KPIs and metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years comprehensive business experience in ecommerce, merchandising, retail, customer insights, or related roles.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights using skills with data with data tools (e.g., Excel/Gsheets, SQL, or similar).
  • Experience with Jira/ticket management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines while working with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passionate about improving the customer journey and driving positive outcomes through data-driven insights.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a high degree of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven ability to embrace change.
