Working Hours: 40 Hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Who you will be:

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to continue the transformation of our operational forecasting and planning processes by collaborating closely with various operational teams to drive efficiency and innovation through superior analytics. Ideal candidates will possess a curious mindset, strong technical and analytical abilities, and a passion for streamlining cross-functional processes in a dynamic setting. This role is perfect for individuals with a knack for driving meaningful change through advanced planning and forecasting techniques.

What you will do:

  • As the owner and manager of the recurring forecast process, you will be responsible for supporting capacity planning across EU Operations in the UK & Germany. This includes utilizing our data science model and postprocessing automation, managing situational inputs, and delivering results to stakeholders.
  • Your strong problem-solving skills will be put to use as you analyze vast data sets using tools like GBQ, SQL or Python. You will conduct root cause analysis to understand deviations between actuals and forecasts. 
  • Acting as the main point of contact for forecast users in other functions, you will drive the adoption of forecast outputs in the business. Additionally, you will manage a pipeline of forecast enhancements to better serve the business. 
  • You will work closely with our Data Science and tech teams to improve the baseline forecast models. Your input as a thought partner will be crucial in driving continual improvement. 

What you will need:

  • To succeed in this role, you should have a strong desire to make a measurable business impact. You should also possess strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in working with large data sets, are essential. Superior skills in SQL, GBQ, and Excel are required, and knowledge of Python is advantageous. 
  • Effective communication skills and experience in building successful cross-functional partnerships are important. Previous experience with forecasting and planning is preferable but not essential.
