About the Team

The team is responsible to run the certification for the third party AVR devices which connects to Roku TV.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer for a fixed-term contractor until March, 2025. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of home streaming products through rigorous testing and analysis.

What you will be doing

Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Run automation tests to reproduce known issues and validate functionality.
Reproduce, isolate, and debug issues using a variety of hands-on testing techniques, providing detailed bug reports.
Identify, document, and track product defects and inconsistencies, providing detailed reports on testing outcomes.
Refine and develop test plans for new products/features and ensure adequate test coverage.
Experience with A/V equipment is a preference, particular HDMI-CEC.

We're excited if you have

Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, test experience on consumer streaming devices is a plus.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, knowledge on automation test is a plus.
Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
