Manager, Public Policy

The Digital Safety Unit sits within Microsoft’s Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) division, whose vision is to empower every person to have safer digital experiences. The team’s objectives include: 

• Shaping global policy and emerging legal frameworks related to digital safety by engaging with industry, governments, and civil society;    

• Mitigating digital risk by enabling Microsoft's compliance with legal obligations and voluntary commitments to address illegal and harmful online content; and  

• Integrating safety by design into Microsoft product and services by engaging with engineering and business groups. 

We are seeking a Manager, Public Policy, to support our global efforts on public policy and partnerships. In this role, you will play a key role in helping gather and synthesize information about the global digital safety landscape, help coordinate internal and external events, develop strategic communications, and empower our global government affairs teams.
