Description
As FileMaker development lead, bring strong aptitude to solve support issues across a large array of FileMaker solutions, leading and extending the skills of other developers. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Effectively communicate with team members and business stakeholders to establish clear expectations regarding timelines and the scope of work. Triage support issues and assign them to appropriate team members. Work on support issues - troubleshoot and resolve them (including design, development, testing). Handle multiple support issues simultaneously with changing priorities and drive them to closure. Take the lead in planning and implementing new initiatives. Establish relationships with various business collaborators and ensure good communication about issues and initiatives. Drive initiatives to improve efficiency / productivity. Monitor and identify trends for issues and implement solutions by performing root cause analysis. Monitor and run critical operational metrics effectively.

  • 5 years of project management, preferably in an agile system.
  • FileMaker development experience in relationship diagrams and scripting.
  • Experience with setting up and configuring multiple FileMaker servers.
  • Experience with programming database-driven websites, preferably with PHP.
  • Hands-on experience to troubleshoot production support issues.
  • Experience in partnering with teams both internal and external.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical/scientific discipline or equivalent work experience

  • 8+ years of FileMaker development experience in highly complex relationship diagrams and extensive scripting.
  • Experience with eCommerce systems and/or with the Laminas framework would be a significant advantage.
  • Integration experience with other systems, especially Salesforce, MySQL, and SAP, is a plus.
  • Strong aptitude to be hands-on to troubleshoot production support issues.
  • Ability to identify potential issues within data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive issue resolution across teams.
  • Self-motivated, thorough, and sensitive to established schedules and scopes.
  • Ability to establish & maintain relationships with various business partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
