In this role you will be responsible for: - Improve the overall product engineering outcomes through a focus on enhanced tooling and streamlined processes - Drive the creation new tools that leverage LLM technologies to greatly improve efficiency of bug analysis, triage, and prioritization. - Create improved reports and dashboards to enable product engineers and engineering leadership to see immediate responsibilites at a glance - Analyze bug lifecycle history in order to identify sources of low-quality reports as well as bottlenecks in the current process - Collaborate with Product and Quality engineering to identify the best ways to measure customer success in an LLM/ML-driven experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • M.S in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience with 5+ years software engineering experience and strong background in computer science: distributed systems, algorithms and data structures
  • Deep experience in assessing the quality of complex systems
  • Deep experience in the software lifecycle and associated tools and processes
  • Proven track record of delivering tools and process improvements to enhance a product development team’s ability to identify, assess and fix user-facing product issues
  • Proven ability to work in a broad cross-functional role, driving the activities of multiple teams to address user-experience quality issues

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
