Position Overview:
The Partner Sales team is responsible for procuring, vetting, solutioning, and closing both direct and wholesale partners.
We are searching for a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Sales Partnerships to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth, with a specific focus on selling to software companies looking for an embedded payments solution. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in partner sales within the embedded payments domain and possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Identification and Recruitment:
- Identify and evaluate potential software partners needing embedded payments capability
- Develop and execute a targeted go to market strategy (target vertical lists, competitor lists, sponsors, etc.
- Attend SaaS conferences to procure new software partner leads
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing embedded payments partners on both the direct and wholesale side, ensuring their satisfaction and success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to provide product feedback, specialized support, and resources to embedded payments partners.
Sales Enablement:
- Provide embedded payments partners with sales presentations, advisory reports, solutions documents, demonstrations,sandbox training, and resources to effectively market and sell products and services.
- Collaborate closely with embedded payments partners to develop joint sales strategies and go-to-market plans that enable their payments strategy success.
Revenue Generation:
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets through direct and wholesale channels.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, optimizing partner performance for revenue growth.
Market Insights:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities within the embedded payments space.
- Utilize market insights to recommend adjustments to the partner program and overall business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in partner sales or channel management within the embedded payments space.
- Strong track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets in the embedded payments sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of embedded payments technology and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in partner sales, with a specific focus on the embedded payments ecosystem.
