Full Stack Engineer

Forward is building the next generation of embedded payments. We help software companies monetize payments leveraging Forward’s best-in-class products and innovations combined with a transparent collaborative approach to growing their business. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Partner Sales Consultant to help grow our client base.

Position Overview:

Our engineering team is looking for a versatile Fullstack engineer who is passionate about the embedded payments space, can work within our tech stack, think outside the box, work independently, and come up with creative solutions to complex problems. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Be able to turn wireframes into a functioning product (using Next.js and React)
• Integrated with 3rd party tools and solutions such as Plaid, or other analytics engine.
• Be a decision maker when in comes to the implementation of the application and the tools that are used.
• Own the architecture of frontend applications
• Build backend solutions using, microservices and serverless functions (AWS). Integrate to other other 3rd parties (banks, processors, datastores or underwriting systems to name a few). Using Typescript or JAVA
• Work with DynamoDb using single table design
• Work with varies data warehouse products
• Be a stakeholder in architecture and other solution designs.
• Own elements of the product including functional components or even infrastructure
• Define low level software requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with React, Next.JS, Typescript
• Experience with JAVA, AWS, Kubernetes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work cross functionally
