Frontend Engineer

About Us:

Forward is building the next generation of embedded payments. We help software companies monetize payments leveraging Forward’s best-in-class products and innovations combined with a transparent collaborative approach to growing their business. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Partner Sales Consultant to help grow our client base.

Position Overview:

Our engineering team is looking for a frontend leaning engineer who is passionate about the embedded payments space, can work within our tech stack, think outside the box, work independently, and come up with creative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be able to turn wireframes into a functioning product (using Next.js and React)
• Work with backend team to provide the necessary data to the frontend.
• Integrated with 3rd party tools and solutions such as Plaid, or other analytics engine.
• Be a decision maker when in comes to the implementation of the application and the tools that are used.
• Own the architecture of frontend applications
• Bonus if one can work in the backend to support the frontend they are building 

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or enough industry experience to offset lack of formal education
• Experience with React, Next.JS, Typescript
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work cross functionally
