Team mission:
We are searching for an outstanding Lead Strategic Partnerships Manager to establish, maintain, and grow affiliate partnerships with some of the worldβs leading brands in the Americas. The role reports to the Head of Partnerships, Americas, and will play a pivotal role in growing GetYourGuide's market share in the U.S., our fastest-growing region.
You will:
- Strategically expand our Americas affiliate partner portfolio while owning, managing, and growing a multi-million dollar portfolio of enterprise accounts and industry relationships
- Build a strong pipeline of exceptional affiliate partnership prospects that offer the growth potential to grow the U.S. GMV contribution by 5X
- Contribute to the design of, and execute playbooks, sales, and growth systems needed to penetrate strategic verticals
- Develop strong internal partnerships and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize revenue opportunities to improve deal progressions
- Be accountable for selling to existing customers and net new customers
- Work closely with Legal, FP&A, Partner Tech, Supply, Accounting, Product, and Brand and Growth Marketing Teams to build feasible partnership structures, ensure compliance with contractual terms and achievement of partnership milestones, and maximize the impact of the GetYourGuide brand.
- Regularly communicate strategies, impact, learnings, and next steps to GetYourGuide leadership via weekly, monthly, and quarterly business updates.
- Represent GetYourGuide by interfacing with business leaders in an acute business setting (sales pitches, ongoing partner meetings, etc) and at industry events such as conferences, and trade shows and through participation in local trade associations.
Who you are:
- Based in the NYC metropolitan area or willing to relocate. We operate on a hybrid work model and value in person interaction in our office 3+ days per week.
- 6+ years experience working in sales, key account management, or business development functions at high-growth marketplace, SaaS, or e-commerce companies
- Connected, have a good network and reputation
- Proficient and have a good understanding of affiliate marketing
- Good business acumen and commercial instincts, specifically in contract negotiation and relationship management
- An understanding of online marketplace dynamics, with demonstrated success in driving growth, tangible results, and KPI improvements
- Entrepreneurial attitude to win despite all challenges, thriving in a fast-paced environment, growth mindset, and learners attitude
- Highly collaborative, outstanding communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills with a strong win-win mentality and natural ability to build relationships
- Data-driven, results-oriented, and accurate
- Excited to spend up to 30% of your time traveling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

The reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $154,000 - $163,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
