Team mission

As GetYourGuide's visibility and bookings soar, the need to shield ourselves from fraudulent attacks becomes increasingly critical. We're seeking a Fraud Operations Representative to be the frontline defense, ensuring the safety and security of transactions for both our customers and suppliers. Your role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to the highest standards of financial and reputational integrity. 

Your Mission:

As a Fraud Representative, your mission is clear: Safeguard GetYourGuide's vision by protecting the company, customers, and suppliers from financial and reputational harm.

You will:

• Review and analyze online transactions to identify potential fraudulent activity.
• Cancel fraudulent or suspicious orders, minimizing financial impact.
• Recognize fraud patterns promptly, contributing to the enforcement of up-to-date prevention measures.
• Actively monitor chargeback rates, bank alerts, and high-risk supplier activities.
• Support the CARE Team with risk-related queries.
• Ensure weekend coverage for high-risk duties.
• Enforce debt collection and reconciliation in a timely manner.
• Proactively suggest and review real-time and offline rules.
• Manage fraud detection tools, creating rules and analyzing patterns.

Who you are:

• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry skills.
• Minimum 1 year of global experience in fraud metrics and patterns. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills across diverse backgrounds (phone and email).
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Proactive problem solver and team player.
• Comfortable using Excel.
