Executive Communications Senior Manager, EMEA

Okta is hiring an experienced communications manager and technical storyteller to drive all aspects of communications for the SVP and General Manager of EMEA. You will develop and deliver strategic communications that elevate awareness across the region and position Okta as the market's identity standard.

As a trusted communications partner, you’ll manage external and internal communications to drive thought leadership, visibility, and outcome-driven results. This hands-on role requires you to source and distill complex information into simplified messaging that resonates across broad internal and external audiences and channels.

This high-output role requires disciplined execution, attention to detail, and a proven track record for delivering high-quality, engaging communications for C-level executives.

This role will be a part of an innovative Global Communications team committed to delivering creative communications that elevate awareness, motivate employees, and capture the attention of customers and partners.   

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strategy Build & Execution: Develop and advise on external and internal executive communication strategies for the SVP, GM of EMEA, and regional executives in support of key business priorities; Actively manage and implement tactics in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Content Development & Storytelling: Effectively communicate executive leader perspectives and strategies by creating compelling, insightful content. Use video and video storytelling to connect with internal and external audiences. 
• Thought Leadership: Position the SVP, GM of EMEA as an industry leader by crafting high-impact thought leadership campaigns and provocative points of view that resonate with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
• Internal Communications: Manage EMEA executive-level internal communications, including all-hands meetings, town halls, change communications, and issues management.
• Collaboration: Actively partner with the Global Communications Team, Go-to-Market stakeholders, and across Okta’s People, Workplace, Business Technology, Legal, and Investor Relations to ensure alignment of messaging, timing, and editorial strategies.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure strategic alignment on messaging, timing, and editorial strategies across EMEA, Global Communications teams, and regional leaders.
• Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs to measure communications effectiveness, provide regular performance reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• 10+ years of relevant technical and communications experience, ideally owning an executive thought leader profile and driving technology public relations.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications, storytelling, and presentations in the tone and voice of Go-to-Market leaders.
• An understanding of Okta and Auth0’s business and competitors with experience working with security, cloud and/or SaaS companies.
• Ability to interpret complex technology information and translate it into bold, compelling, and distinctive content that resonates across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing communications strategies to increase awareness and visibility of leaders or products.
• Collaborative approach to working with the ability to interact with and influence at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple, high-profile, and confidential projects and deliverables.
• Agile and adaptable to change in a fast-paced, remote environment while multitasking, re-prioritizing projects, and communicating priority updates to stakeholders.
• This role will be based in Okta’s London office and will be required to be in office at least two days a week. 
• Candidate must have the ability to travel 10-15% of the time.
