The Tech Transformation (TfX) group within the WW Robotics organization technically advises and leads innovative solutions that ensure cutting edge deployment capabilities that deliver consistent year over year resource efficiency. We are seeking a talented and solutions-oriented System Development Engineer Co-op to contribute to delivering transformational innovation to the business.
Your work typically focuses on the design and deployment of complex software systems, which includes functional and performance requirements of components critical to system performance.
This role is 6 month co-op ranging from July/August-December 2025.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop algorithms for processing point clouds
• Build infrastructure for managing and automating human-in-the-loop workflows
• Create novel solutions for accelerating robotics deployment
• Work cross-functionally with teams to resolve complex issues in effective ways
- BS/MS candidate in computer science, robotics, or electrical engineering; currently enrolled in college/university and must have at least one semester of school left to complete after the end of the co-op.
- Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) role for a 6 month time period from July/August -December 2025
- Experience working with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java/C++/Python)
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Experience working with point cloud and surveying data
- Experience programming with Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or AWS SageMaker
- Experience building computer vision or machine learning systems
- Experience using CAD or Revit

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42.88/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $88.94/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
