Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in Data Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Process Improvement and Demand Planning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in capacity planning, strategic operations planning, inventory optimization, or management/operations consulting.
  • Experience with Data Center Operations.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Data Center Planning (DCP) team is dedicated to planning and delivering Data Center capacity using technology for Google's Product Areas needs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead multi-disciplinary programs that span across Google through the lifecycle.
  • Offer recommendations to partners and executives in a timely manner regarding Google’s data center capacity needs.
  • Use data to identify planning solutions and provide advice to business leaders across the organization.
  • Maintain and update Google's technical and business requirements in partnership with Resource Managers and use them to influence execution and Google’s spend and capacity allocation decisions.
  • Implement new data center power planning initiatives, including automation with engineering support and cross-functional policy change.
