Department:
The Corporate Technology team manages the IT requirements of the corporate functions within Squarepoint. We work with Finance, HR, Compliance, Legal, Recruitment & Talent, and other corporate teams to review current and proposed processes and provide design solutions, as well as test, implement and provide post-production support for any implemented changes. We also get involved in onboarding 3rd party applications and work with technical core teams to build custom inhouse solutions.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual to support in the build out of the FP&A function with a focus on the Workday Adaptive Planning system. The individual should have a thorough understanding of Workday Adaptive Planning, both from a technical and functional standpoint and be able to support the implementation, ongoing maintenance and updating of the Adaptive Planning tool. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implementation, development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models, forecasts and budgets in Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Build and continuously improve MI reports using Adaptive Planning Dashboards, OfficeConnect and BI tools.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, calculations and assumptions within the tool for auditing and reference purposes.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and contribute to training material development. Offer continuous support to users during and after implementation.
- Conduct comprehensive system testing to detect and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth implementation process.
- Exposure to designing and building complex financial planning models, formulas, assumptions.
- Tailor reports, create master data/metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, models, business rules, calculations, dashboards, and templates to suit specific organizational needs for effective communication of financial data.
- Understanding of, and ability to interpret, monthly analyses of business trends and budget variance of financial results.
- Configure and implement Workday Adaptive Planning solutions, including Reporting, OfficeConnect, Modeling, and Security.
- Understanding basic cash flow statement and ad-hoc cash flow analysis/trending to be incorporated into potential business solutions.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Innovate and suggest new approaches to improve Adaptive Planning deployments.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members in Adaptive Planning practices.
Required Qualifications:
- You have 6+ yearsβ experience in Workday Adaptive Planning working on at least 1 implementation.
- Experience in implementing, maintaining, administering, and managing Adaptive data structures and model changes to ensure effective running of the tool to support business processes and operational needs.
- Strong communication skills
- Have great attention to detail, a well-structured, independent, and proactive work ethic.
- Expertise in Adaptive Planning configuration (e.g., Reporting, Modelling, Office Connect, Security).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and consulting skills in remote environments.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
