Analyst/Senior Analyst - Fund Accounting, CPD

Arcesium seeks a highly motivated Specialist to join our Client and Partner Development team in Hyderabad / Bangalore / Gurgaon and work on client implementations. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the client requirements and onboard the clients’ in Arcesium platform. The candidate will also work for deep dive presentations, and proof of concept projects to help Arcesium win new business.

What You'll Do 

• Onboarding clients on Arcesium platform along with knowledge of settlements of OTC products/swap resets.
• Investigate and explain B/S and P&L movements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve those breaks.
• Handling end-to-end onboarding of new clients; gathering requirements and showcasing our capabilities clearly.
• Managing stakeholders’ expectations; being proactive in identifying their needs, articulating the scope of the offering, escalating issues in a timely manner, and showcasing persuasiveness in bringing about changes.
• Learn and enhance knowledge on complete Arcesium platform/industry, not restricted to current area of expertise.
• Perform various activities like data gathering, GAP analysis, Mapping, Data transformation, Loading and reconciliation, BAU activities setup, Client parallel support etc. in Arcesium platform as a part of client implementation.
• Work with technology teams as needed, by assisting in special projects, developing bespoke reports, developing specifications, product implementation and UAT.

What You'll Need

• 3 to 7 years of experience working in the trade accounting paired with in-depth domain / finance knowledge.
• Strong understanding of the intricacies of daily trade, position, Swap MTMs & cash reconciliations against the prime broker/custodians /administrators.
• Intricate understanding and experience of handling counterparty and admin reconciliations end to end.
• An in-depth understanding of the various stages of the trade life-cycle and strong accounting acumen.
• Good understanding of investor allocations onboarding exposure will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven track-record of handling projects and improving processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel.
• Hands on experience with VBA macros / Python will be a big plus.
