What you’ll do:
- Be responsible for purchase order placement for a variety of different products required for our meal production, at the correct price and quantity
- Analyze purchasing data to ensure accuracy of information, purchasing procedures and identify any discrepancies
- Lead waste management - striving towards zero waste, this involves avoiding over-ordering, minimizing product waste and closely monitoring of inventory
- Be the POCfor inventory-related questions across production, procurement, intra-logistics, and FSQA - ensuring timely communication and adequate stock for smooth production
- Collaborate with HelloFresh distribution centers, co-manufacturers, and ingredient suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and meet demand requirements
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending changes, testing new processes, and implementing updates
- Resolve any unforeseen supplier issues quickly and professionally, keeping operations on track
- Proactively escalate issues to the right stakeholders to minimize customer impact
- Evaluating supplier performance and being responsible for On Time, In Full and In Quality product delivery
What you’ll bring:
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
- Flexibility for occasional weekend and evening work
- Stress resilience and a hands-on approach
- A proactive, data-driven, and result-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills with fluency in German and proficiency in English
