Designer and Content Creator (m/f/x)

The role

As a Creative Designer and Content Creator you will be part of the Global Brand team based in our Berlin studio in Moabit, working within our newly created content studio to produce social-first video content for our advertising and communication needs.  We seek an individual well versed in the creation of short-form, social media video content – a digital native with the ability to conceptualize video ideas and act as a capable designer who can ensure that all assets are well designed, thumb-stopping, and as effective as possible (moving consumers to action).

This position will report directly to the Head of Design.

What you’ll do

• Be part of the conceptual core of the content studio, bringing fresh and unique ideas to the table for compelling short-form content across the HelloFresh brands.  
• Experiment with different forms of video content using data and performance insights to produce iterations and new content on a weekly basis.
• Co-create storyboards for all video-based content and executions..
• Provide graphic design direction and hands-on digital design to all video projects.
• Be heavily involved in the preproduction, production, and post-production phases of content production. Ownership of the video content from start to finish.
• Oversee brand governance and ensure that all assets meet brand standards.
• Participate in the quality assurance of all assets produced by the studio.

What you’ll bring

• A strong creative portfolio of compelling UGC and social media videos.
• Experience working with international brands.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Meta, TikTok)
• Demonstrated 4+ years of experience creating social media videos.  
• Knowledge of Premiere and expertise with Adobe Design Suite. Motion design experience is a strong plus
• Deep understanding of video production and workflow. 
• Great attention to detail, as well as critical and analytical thinking. 
• Good collaboration and communication skills, empathy, and active listening skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and operate in an international environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set and maintain processes and structures.
