Shift: This position will provide a fulltime schedule covering our operations from Sunday to Thursday 12:00pm-8:00pm. Availability to work outside these hours will required as per business needs.

About the Role
This role will be supporting FACTOR_ (part of the HelloFresh Group). We are looking for a Senior Production Planner who will be responsible for preparing and sharing weekly production plans for plating and casing of Factor meals. As part of the Planning team, you will play a key role in delivering the best possible value to our customers by optimizing internal operations to meet delivery requirements. You’ll work closely with Production, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare weekly production plans for meals and ingredients to meet customer delivery requirements, reduce waste, and optimize capacity utilization of kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with Team Members to perform root cause analysis and deliver corrective actions to address plan reliability, issues, and bottlenecks, including but not limited to equipment, personnel, and material availability.
- Track variances to plan and related performance metrics; recommend appropriate adjustments to the production plan to meet operational targets.
- Create, adjust, and track production work orders in the system on a regular basis.
- Proactively plan with Procurement and Menu Ops teams to ensure effective ingredient planning and packaging availability.
- Report on key planning KPIs, ensuring optimal efficiency, waste reduction, and adherence to production schedules.
- Lead cross-functional huddles; advise on the plan and ensure teams are aligned and set up to successfully meet targets.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data insights to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
At a minimum, you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Inventory Management, or related fields.
- Proficiency in software (Google Sheets, Excel), complemented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, while prioritizing, achieving objectives, and meeting deadlines.
- An ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Would be an asset if you have:
- ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM) or actively working towards.
- Experience with SAP APO PP/DS or similar scheduling software.
- Database management experience (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau).
- Prior experience in a fast growing company or startup environment.
- Prior culinary experience or experience with the ready to eat category.
